How to Survive your First Tattoo
Step 1: Choose a Design
Pick a design, placement and an artist to do your work. (Tip: Make sure that you do your research on what you want to get done and on the tattoo artist.)
Step 2: Pick a Date
Pick set an appointment to have your design done. (Tip: If you know what you want to get you don't need to get a consultation but if you don't then feel free to set up a consultation before your actual appointment.)
Step 3: Preparing for the Day of
When it is time for you to go in for you appointment make sure that you:
Eat Something before you go.
Pack a snack/drink with you.
Have cash on you for the tip and if the shop does not except credit/debit cards.
Step 4: It's Time to Lay the Stencil
When you are finally at the shop and you are preparing to begin you session make sure that you are not afraid to voice your opinion on anything that you may not like about the stencil that is put down on you body. (Tip: Do not think that it is hurting your tattoo artist's feeling by speaking up they want to do want you want, because at the end of the day it is you body.)
Step 5: Getting Tattooed
When it is finally time for you to get tattooed, meaning you like the desin that you have chosen and you also have made all the neccessary cchanges to the stencil and you are ready to now begin.
When getting tattooed make sure that you:
Stay as still as you can.
If you are expericences too much pain, let your artist now.
If you want something to be shanged do not be afraid to stand up for youself and express your wants to the artist.
(Tip: The pain of getting tattooed is different for everyone. It is not though like a pain to where you want to pull your arm away it is just an annoying feeling.)
Step 6: All Done... Now time to Heal.
When you are finally done with your session, it is not over yet. You have to heal it. Your tattoo artist will give you specific instructions on how to heal there ink. Follow there instructions because they know how there work heals in the skin.
